2. Kerrville Renaissance Festival

The Kerrville Renaissance festival will be hosting 3 weekends of enchanting entertainment, food, crafts and games. Journey back in time with performances by the Vinland Texas Vikings, jugglers, artisans and musicians. A Renaissance costume contest will be held each weekend. A Steampunk costume contest will be held February 3rd and 4th. Costume contests are free to enter.

3. Medieval Merriment Fest

Step into the world of Robin Hood at the 15th annual Sherwood Forest Faire. This medieval-style village spans 25 acres and hosts more than 100 permanent buildings. 5. Scarborough Renaissance Festival

Step into the enchanted realm of Avalon and journey back to the era of King Arthur, Lady Guinevere, wizards, and the noble Knights of the Round Table. Day of Disappearance: April 8th
Enjoy the solar eclipse at a Merlin themed watch party! Daytime admission is free on Monday April 8th. Camping is also available for those who wish to enjoy pre and post eclipse celebrations, and evening festivities on April 7th and 9th.

8. 50th Annual Texas Renaissance Festival

Permanently located on 70 acres, the Texas Renaissance Festival is the largest Renaissance-themed attraction in the United States. The village has 21 stages and over 400 artisan shops and taverns.
