Our Story
In the vibrant heart of New Braunfels, TX, Valkyrie's Kiss Meadery was proudly established in 2023 as a tribute to courage, sacrifice, and timeless tradition. Founded by Isaac Pruna, a New Braunfels local and proud United States Army veteran with 10 years of service, Valkyrie's Kiss honors Norse legends and fallen brothers-in-arms. Inspired by the Valkyries - fierce warrior maidens led by the goddess Freyja, who guided brave souls to Valhalla - our mead captures the spirit of those who fought with honor. Our logo features Freyja’s silhouette, symbolizing the powerful balance of love, war, and death, encapsulating the warrior spirit. Valkyrie’s Kiss is more than just a meadery; it is a heartfelt celebration of bravery, remembrance, and the legacy of those who sacrificed.
We are driven by a passion for crafting high-quality, health-conscious, and locally sourced meads. Each batch is naturally produced with minimal sulfites (only 10–50 ppm) and absolutely no tannins. Our meads are free from additives and fillers, offering a wholesome refreshment that connects the past with the present. Each sip is a celebration of tradition and history, a testament to community and craftsmanship. We aim to share the rich history and ecological benefits of mead with our community.

A proud United States Army veteran with ten years of service, Isaac channels the discipline, loyalty, and resilience learned in uniform into his craft as founder of Valkyrie’s Kiss Meadery, creating locally sourced meads that honor heritage and community, inspired by Norse legends and the warriors who came before.
Travon Pearson
Production Lead & Mazer
Tavion runs day-to-day production at Valkyrie’s Kiss Meadery, overseeing fermentations, tank transfers, and quality control from honey-to-glass. With 6 years of combined home and commercial brewing experience, he’s the steady hand behind our consistency and clean finishes, ensuring balance and quality in every single batch.

Events Coordinator & Mazer
Cris is the face of our tastings and markets and a key brewer on the cellar floor. Bringing over 7 years of home-and-commercial meadmaking experience, he bridges the gap between the craft and the community—planning truly memorable events while helping create the bold, fruit-forward profiles our fans love.
